With this addition, the association gains a mid-sized, internationally active distributor of electronic components. Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Bückeburg (Lower Saxony), SE Spezial-Electronic also operates branches in Munich and Dortmund, as well as subsidiaries in Poland and the Czech Republic. The company’s portfolio includes 33 suppliers across a wide range of segments: Timing, Passive Components, Electromechanics, EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), Analog & Mixed Signal, Wireless, Memory, Power, Displays and Sensors, Computer-on-Modules (COMs), and Single Board Computers (SBCs). Each year, the company ships around 500 million components, modules, and systems. Its Dortmund site provides particular expertise in the areas of passive components, electromechanics, and EMI. In these segments, SE Spezial-Electronic ranks among the leading local distributors, offering customers deep technical expertise and tailored solutions. In addition, its subsidiary rtg electronics GmbH provides comprehensive manufacturing services. With its “Designed in Germany – Made in Germany” approach, SE Spezial-Electronic ensures high delivery reliability and contributes to supply chain stability through localized development and production.
“We are excited to join the FBDi.
